So I started doing the my brute thing that ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) mizunoaoi linked in his blog awhile back and i have fun with it. it's an amusing time waster and i love watching a system that has no appreciable way to track whether or not you're brute will win.
Apparently, there is an exploit, that I'll admit I'm using, but also isn't that big of an exploit. You only get one exp for the master of the pupil each time they level. early levels for the master, this helps more. later on (like 5+) doesn't matter as much.
Here's a list of my brutes, feel free to fight them or study under them. Vorrt is of course always my primary.
Vorrt is my king of the ring. He's won his fair share and occasionally places well in tournies.
Darkvorrt is my retarded village idiot character. Wins more than he loses and doesn't seem to be able to acquire any useful abilities.
Kidweasel is my little mynx. Kidweasel is one of my early self-given nicknames and can easily have been a feminine nickname as not. She's ten shades of agile and has a shield to boot.
Big Ray Ray is my latest creation. So far, he's a tank. |

So i might have mentioned that I am having my four wisdom teeth pulled later this month. Currently, the pain is unlike anything i've dealt prior and has been keeping me up at night, so i'm dead to the world come the morning. I, in fact, called in sick on wed, because I tried to go to bed at 11pm and wound up getting zero sleep.
So i called my dentist today and asked for something to help me sleep through the pain. She prescribed me Vicodin, a drug I've never had the chance to take before.
Currently, I'm feeling pressure in my head (nothing bad, just noticeable), drowsiness (but not the usual drowsiness i feel from say NyQuil), and maybe a combination of light headed/dizzy. i'm about to lay down, but I really did want to put thoughts to text on this one.

So I'm not dead, despite work's best efforts. I'm sorely tempted to join in the possible strike in April, given how their working us like kinless right now. I'm starting to rebuild my credit score (which wasn't as bad as I thought, but still no where near good enough for me to accomplish current goals). I've started playing WoW again, for some flavor. I enjoy playing City of Heroes because of the people I play with and talk to on Vent, which leads to some hair brained ideas regarding my presence in other cities in the US (more on this later on this post). Oh, and to cap it all off, due to my poor dental hygiene skills (which i'm now work to improve after I've already burnt the bridge), I get to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed at the end of the month. Good bye most of Tax return. Ah well, c'est la vie.
My personage in other cities:
I've heard of a con in Florida called Megacon and finally was able to put together the money to go to it. So later this month, as a birthday gift to myself, I'm going to head to Florida and spend a week there, attending the con, seeing the sites of Orlando and visiting friends there. Some I'll see during the Con, one I'll visit in Miami (he works for a construction company and is going to be in Miami until April sometime, with no real chance of coming home to visit, so I'm bringing him some Michigan cheer). Might even get to see my friend Rocket Shoes at the con.
I also have friends out the Seattle way who have been begging for me to come to PAX this year, which will sadly not happen, at least not completely. I'm going to end up taking a full body picture of myself (and another friend) and have card board cutouts made from the picture (like all the ones you see of celebs in stores and movie theaters). I'm going to send said facsimile of myself to them and have them take pictures of me at PAX and other fine local Seatlle establishments (Toys in Babeland).

So I said I'm going to evaluate myself, based upon my nick names and I'm going to start with the biggest one of them all.
Voice
Of

Random
Thoughts
or Vorrt for short.
This came about as the start of the attempt to become a reviewer of games and caffeine, and such. Chaplain asked me to be reviewer and I agreed, but I had to change my previous nick name (Next week's entrant). It took me a couple days, but I came up with VORRT.
Since then I've come to realize that it is more than a nick name, but possibly my True Name, or at least one of them. It seems that Voice of Reason has let me gain some level of intuition and insight. I seem to perceive things more from both sides of the coin (all ja-billion of those sides), which I use to the best effectiveness and usefulness.
The Random Thoughts aspect of the name I've used to make people think. From simple phrases like "I hope so, I'm wearing his pants" in response to the question "Are you really this person?" to just general thoughts that make people take a moment and think about what they said and what they could have said differently. |

Stupid work, ramping up to mandatory six day work weeks, and then needing me to go to Detroit to help out (although this has been a decent vacation). Maybe I'll get to play MMO's again some day.
Starting tomorrow, I'll be doing something different for me. I'm going to do some self-exlporation of who I am, based upon the numerous nick-names I've picked up over the years. |

I think i borked my Warhammer online game.
I tried to install the release version to see about fixing some graphical issues I was having that I thought might be attributed to using the beta code (i had gotten in the closed beta).
When I launched, even though it said the servers were up, I couldn't connect to any of my servers.
When I tried to uninstall everything and just install new, I couldn't do so. It kept saying "Fail to intialize uninstall protocols" or something of that nature.
So I did a system restore to take my comp back two days, before i borked it all up. now i can't get the game to work at all, getting an error "string table initialization failed".
now have to figure out how to wipe the game from computer completely and then install retail version again and see what happens. |

The last post had me at 52 hours for that work week, I ended up with 79.25 hours for that week.
Also,
PAGING AOI AND TSUBOMI! PAGING AOI AND TSUBOMI! THERE IS A PHONE CALL FOR YOU AT THE FRONT DESK!
I'm going to Ann Arbor next weekend to buy gifts for my nieces and wanted some traveling companions. All gas will be covered by Moi (my car or Aoi's, your choice). You just have to cover your own food and maybe chip in for parking.

So this is the second week of working six day weeks and i'm already at 52 hours, with two more days of work.
I also have a six day week next week as well.
I know that I shouldn't be bitching so loudly, but I'm questioning is this job worth keeping, given how much like a dog i'm getting worked.

So my week last week was TEH SUCK!! I didn't get to call my friend Aoi to hang out on friday day like i planned and I lucked into having dinner with a friend.
I ended up working 66 hours last week (YAY overtime.... /wrists) which made me so tired, i'm still burnt out as of this writing. I can't seem to work less than 12 hour days right now.
I hope that I can actually get together and hang with Aoi and Tsubomi (who I must admit, I don't know very well and would like to know better. I like people who make a good friend of mine happy) doing something, even just a round of mini-golf somewhere (we still need to play that sadistic course out Mattawan way).

Found out that I'm 10 minutes from the Dave and Busters in Utica, from where I'm staying in Detroit while I'm here training this week.
Downside: Propwash took the pods from the place when he bought sole ownership of Virtual World.
Upside: It has Pump It Up Zero (7th mix according to the machine)
I dig the artist Banya that they have a lot of mixes/songs from. Wonder if the artist is commercially available. |
